Detapella is a fox roleplay that takes place in a vast region full of landforms from mountains to plains, and rivers to waterfalls. Foxes are the dominant predator to a variety of species, including rabbits and lemmings, and one may hunt on their own, or collectively hunt in a pack. 9.10.09. I've updated a few things around the site to make it easier (and less confusing), including the character application form. Also, although unrelated, I'm going to make another skin for the forum at some point. :)
Current Plot
Overall, the lands of Detapella are peaceful, and still being explored, and settled. Foxes are banding together, joining packs; in most cases, they will reap the mutual benefits of living together, hunting down their food as a group. Socially, ranks are being established within each pack, and even between each pack, and between the packs and the lone foxes. The land is still a new formation, lush with plants and small critters...
I. The three different packs are Cornurcipa, Xutier, and Ficaturia. II. Packs may be claimed by different foxes, but if the admin feels as though they'd rather someone run the pack, they will step in and switch alphas. III. Packs have an hierarchy to follow for how each member fits in the pack. IV. The den's rooms are listed in the description, and below. V. Foxes do not have to join packs, yet on the same not they do not have to travel alone. Small bands [up to four] of foxes are allowed to form [not including pups]. If any are to form larger than that, packs have the right to see them as a threat and may fight them.

Cornurcipa- Main room, Infirmary, Nursery, Alpha's Room, Storage Room, Small room with no obvious use. Xutier- Main room, Infirmary, Nursery, Alpha's Room, Storage Room. Ficaturia- Main room, Infirmary, Nursery, Alpha's Room, Storage Room.
x3. Pack Hierarchy .3x Main Alpha/Alphess- Absolute ruler of the pack, regardless of who their mate is. They are the one who claimed the pack, and in the event of a seperation they keep the pack. Alpha- Male leader of the pack Alphess- Female leader of pack Doso/a- The second in command, usually a position two mated foxes recieve together. They lead hunts and wars if the alpha/alphess is not able to. Caretaker- The healer of the pack. In charge of the infirmary. Hunter- Hunts for food, and fights in wars when needed. Warrior- Fights in wars, and hunts when needed. Serf- The title for a fox without a rank in the pack. Kit- A fox that is six months or younger. Elder- A retired member of the pack. Usually three years old.
